Did you know that about 11 percent of children in school and 4 percent of adults suffer from attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder? Out of those 11 percent of school-aged children, only 70 percent of them take medication for it, and the number of adults who take medication for their ADD/ADHD is slowly rising. Recently, the Washington Post created a graphic that goes into more details about the brain signals that are affected by ADHD.
