Amy Baynash, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Amy Baynash is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a unique and distinguished background that bridges advanced scientific research and compassionate clinical care. She will be joining Holiner Psychiatric Group in May 2026, where she will provide comprehensive, evidence-based psychiatric treatment to adolescents and adults. Dr. Baynash earned her PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She later pursued her passion for patient care by obtaining both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing, ultimately becoming a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With a deep foundation in neuroscience and psychopharmacology, Dr. Baynash specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other complex psychiatric illnesses. She is particularly committed to delivering individualized, patient-centered care that integrates the latest scientific evidence with a thoughtful and holistic approach. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Baynash is actively involved in teaching and mentoring future nurses and healthcare professionals.
