Physician Assistant

Alexandra Smith, PA-C, CAQ-Psychiatry is a nationally recognized psychiatric provider with nearly a decade of experience delivering comprehensive mental health care to underserved communities across East Texas. She previously served as the Director of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Services at a local non-profit organization specializing in severe mental illness, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, forensic rehabilitation, and substance use. In August 2022, she was featured on the front cover of Medical Professionals Magazine, highlighting her contributions to the field.

Alexandra provides both outpatient and crisis-based psychiatric services. In addition to her clinical leadership, she serves as a keynote speaker and thought leader for Otsuka, Lundbeck, and Teva Pharmaceuticals, educating healthcare professionals on evidence-based treatments and emerging neuroscience. Her practice is grounded in compassionate, patient-centered care and a commitment to improving access, outcomes, and dignity for individuals with complex psychiatric needs.
