Walter R. Elliston, M.D. Joins the Holiner Psychiatric Group

November 1, 2004 – Dallas, TX: Dr. Joel Holiner, Medical Director of the Holiner Psychiatric Group, is pleased to announce that Walter R. (Walt) Elliston, M.D. has accepted the position of Associate Psychiatrist at the Holiner Psychiatric Group, Medical City Dallas.

“Dr. Elliston offers a skill set honed in a wide variety of clinical settings,” remarked Dr. Holiner. “He has established behavioral health services at a rural health clinic, served as Medical Director at a community mental health center, and most recently served as Medical Director for an outpatient and partial hospitalization program.”

Dr. Elliston is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Texas A&M University System Health Science Center. His clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, adult attention deficit disorder and integrative/complimentary medicine. Dr. Elliston is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
