This week, Channel 5 NBC DFW is focusing a number of segments daily on mental illness to help educate the public. On Wednesday, Dec. 7., Bianca Castro interviewed Dr. Joel Holiner on the subject of addiction.
Afterward, Chris Gutierrez continued the interview on Facebook live and later allowed viewers to ask questions of Dr. Holiner.
It was a pleasure and a treat for Dr. Holiner to share important information about addiction with such a large audience. For people who don’t deal with mental illness or addiction or mental illness in a loved one, how to recognize issues and how to respond can be a real challenge. We’re thankful that NBC DFW is shining a light on the subject this week, and we’re grateful they invited Dr. Holiner to participate.
