Aaron comes from a diverse nursing background. He holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Maryville University and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As a registered nurse, he specialized in critical care and was dually certified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses in critical care and cardiac medicine. He has worked in inpatient psychiatric unit settings, intensive care units, post anesthesia recovery areas, and hospice. Aaron is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, International Nurses Society on Addictions, Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, Gay & Lesbian Medical Association, and American Nurses Association. He is actively involved in the education and development of future advanced practice nurses and frequently trains and mentors nurse practitioner students from universities locally and across the nation. Aaron has been with The Holiner Psychiatric Group since October 2013 working in collaboration with your physician to diagnose, treat and evaluate psychiatric disorders.
